I was raised in a Christian home by my grandparents, accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized at the age of 11. I attended Sunday school, church services, Bible studies and other church related functions. These all played a key role in me developing a strong understanding about God. They were foundational to my spiritual growth. As I got older in my teen years and through adulthood I continued doing a variety of things to serve in the church. I wanted to keep a close relationship with God and my involvement in church was critically important. I regularly studied the Holy Bible and sang songs of praise searching for His direction to serve him as he ordered my steps with the life He has given me. I have felt it important to live in a way that I should speak to others with grace, mercy and loving kindness as a disciple of God. Later, I received a notice and was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. That was 28 years ago and God has been good and faithful in helping me through this medical condition. I cannot complain but only give God glory. He never gives me more than I can handle and He supplies all my needs through this illness. I walk by faith and not by sight praising His Holy and righteous name for giving me all I need to survive and continue. To Him be the praise and glory, Amen!
