I was born in a small town in Oklahoma. I was raised by parents who loved The Lord my sister and me deeply. They were never shy about it. My parents openly discussed the importance of a relationship with Jesus Christ and how my sins separated me from Him. One Sunday night after church, at the age of 6, I was overwhelmed by the thought of spending eternity in Hell when Christ had already offered me a way out. That night, with my parents, I accepted Christ as my Savior. I was saved at a young age and have had the privilege of spending the majority of my life learning more about Christ and building a relationship with Him. More recently, The Lord has been teaching me to rely on Him and trust Him. I struggle with worry and anxiety which at times can be all-consuming and crippling. The Lord provides a way out from this. He tells us in Isaiah to “fear not, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will keep you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
