I grew up in church and can remember learning a lot about God from a young age. I can also vividly recall giving my heart to Jesus as a boy in my parents bedroom. The problems in my life started though as I entered into my teenage years. Even though I had a lot of knowledge about God, I had never really developed my relationship with him past salvation.

As I stumbled through my teens, I could feel the tug of the Holy Spirit upon my heart, urging me to further my time and attention upon the things of the Lord. Like many, I had already had some bad experiences in church, and could feel my attitude growing cynical towards the “Christian” ways of living. The Lord knew that I was searching. He showed me a lot of grace through these hard times.

When I was 17, the Lord brought a mentor into my life. His name was Doug. The Lord used Doug in my life to help me make many good decisions and realign my pursuit of Christ. Once again, in my early to mid-twenties, I really needed some help finding direction. The Lord sent Rick. Rick and I have had hundreds of conversions since then about life, love and most importantly, the work of the Lord in our lives.

The Lord has been so faithful to be with me and guide me throughout every stage of my journey. He led me to my beautiful wife Kim. He has faithfully led our family and I can’t wait for the day when our children enter into relationship with him through salvation.

The Lord pursued me patiently with His eternal salvation. Once I had received him into my life, he pursued me fiercely, inviting me into the pathway of His will. Now in my thirties, I can perceive Christ pursuing me deeply. He is refining His vessel to be more fitly positioned for His perfect use.

Jesus is the best thing that has ever happened to me. And he wants so much to be the best thing that has ever happened to you.

I would love to talk to you more about my relationship with Jesus or answer any questions you may have.
