I remember her saying you could ask Jesus to come and live in your heart. You can ask Him right now to come live in your heart. If you want to pray right now with me, you can ask Him and He will be in your heart. He will stay with you.
And I remember thinking as a second grader, well yeah, I want that! And so, I prayed then.
I know I was young and I didn’t exactly understand what that meant, but I knew I wanted Jesus. I wanted Him in my heart and He has been, ever since then.
